Living abroad as a Black American expat has been a transformative experience. I started the journey by not being comfortable with my lifestyle, and I even wanted to quit expat life altogether at one point. Then, I started to work on actively changing my mindset to allow me to learn and grow from my time abroad versus just taking and being worried about what I was solely getting out of every experience I had.
I share 10 habits I picked up while living abroad in today’s video. I’ve now lived in India and Morocco, so the things I share in this video are great representations of the life I’ve lived as a foreigner in different countries. What habits have you picked up from living abroad (good or bad)?
I hope you are having a great week so far!
