Gozie casually mentioned one day that he would show me the world—and honestly, I didn’t think much of it at the time. But here we are, years later, living out that dream in the most beautiful way possible.⁠ ⁠ Fast-forward to today: We’re a family of three, and our little one has already seen and experienced more than many do in a lifetime —and it’s just the beginning. When life gets busy, and transitions take over, so When life gets busy, and transitions take over, sometimes you just have to get creative with your routines. For all the parents out there, you know that sometimes the only way to fit in a workout is to include your little one. It’s so important to hold onto the things that keep us grounded, especially during times of change. And while things may not look exactly how we’d like them to, making time for what helps us stay mentally and physically well is essential. It might mean doing squats with a toddler on your hip or stretching with toys scattered around, but it’s still worth it. Remember, progress doesn’t have to be perfect to be meaningful. It’s been such an emotional but fulfilling journ It’s been such an emotional but fulfilling journey closing out our chapter in Ecuador. 🇪🇨⁠ ⁠ The last video on my channel was all about how we packed up our lives and prepared for our next big adventure. ⁠ ⁠ While I’m excited for what’s to come, I can’t help but reflect on the incredible experiences we’ve had here, from the breathtaking views to the heartwarming connections we’ve made (friends, you know who you are ❤️).⁠ ⁠ Here are a few favorites from our last few weeks in Ecuador: ⁠ 1. I cooked a lot and truly grew to love it even more than I did in the past. ⁠ 2. My little one and I walked almost every day. It was the best outlet for his energy and my mental health. ⁠ 3. My two loves ❤️⁠ 4. I was so proud of this meal. I used the grill and everything! ⁠ 5. Another beautiful view of Ecuador we were lucky to witness. ⁠ 6. Gideon also cooked a lot with me! I think we have a budding chef! 7. On another walk, trying to capture the view. ⁠ 8. Tonight, I’m sharing our little one’s nighttim Tonight, I’m sharing our little one’s nighttime travel routine!⁠ ⁠ We started with a soothing bath, and since it’s hair wash day, Gideon got his locks freshened up! ⁠ ⁠ Afterward, it was time for teeth brushing, and then he slipped into his new Dream Drivers pajamas from @zipnbear (which we love right now!).⁠ ⁠ We’re at Grandma’s house—a familiar, comforting space after traveling and living abroad. We recently spent just 24 hours in Cuenca, Ecuador We recently spent just 24 hours in Cuenca, Ecuador, but managed to pack in so many unforgettable experiences! ⁠ Here are 5 things I absolutely recommend you do when visiting this amazing city:⁠ ⁠ 1️⃣ Dine at Picantería Karina, a black-owned seafood gem. The fried fish I’ve been craving for months did not disappoint!⁠ 2️⃣ Hop on a city bus tour! We loved the hop-on-hop-off tour, and it’s a must to see Cuenca.⁠ 3️⃣ My toddler and I took a night stroll through the city center and even met up with a friend! We felt safe and loved the vibrant nightlife. ⁠ 4️⃣ If you’re like me and love exploring local markets, visit Mercado 10 de Agosto to immerse yourself in the local culture.⁠ 5️⃣ Enjoy the stunning views of the city from a rooftop! El Cafecito, my friend Tony’s hostel, offers some of the best sights.
